We are searching for an experienced Chef De Partie to join a team of chef's and kitcchen staff in a busy staff canteen based within a manufacturing company in Southend. This is a temporary role. Woking hours are Mon - Friday 07.30-16.00 and every 3rd week 06.30-15.00 to cover the breakfast shift.
Key Duties of Chef de Partie ;
Handle food preparation and service.
Prepare and cook fresh produce in advance and to order as business requires.
Multi task as required.
Follow systems to effectively manage stock.
Maintain high level of food hygiene standards.
Skills required for the chef de partie:
Must hold a current food hygiene certificate level 2 or above.
Must be able to demonstrate previous experience in a similar role.
Ability to prepare sauces from scratch without a recipe.
Understanding of food allergy procedures.
Valid DBS would be advantageous.
