Chef de Partie

Our client is looking for 2 x Chef de Partie to work in a well established restaurant.

Part of this job is to oversee a section of the kitchen and to be first in line to the cook. You will have help from a demi- chef de partie, commis or trainee chef. The food is American dinner style with a selection of specialised deep south dishes and seafood.

This particular role- requires grill experience , as this is he heart of the restaurants food. You will able to mange up to 120 covers a day.

Key responsibilities are -

Preparing cooking and presenting dishes

Managing the demi - chef de parties or commis chefs working with you

Helping the sous chef and head chef to develop new dishes and and menus

Ensuring you and your team, have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety

Monotoring portion and waste control ti maintain profit margin

Hours will be split shifts up to 40 hours a week
