At Select Hospitality Cambridge we are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Chef de Partie.
A Prestigious Cambridge College situated in Cambridge City Centre. Servicing the requirements of students, fellows and commercial business
To work as an effective member of the kitchen brigade in achieving the highest possible standard of food preparation and presentation for the Fellows, students, staff and commercial business customers.
* To prepare high quality and appropriate quantities of food for the various services and ensure that all dishes are prepared to the quality as determined by the Exc. Head Chef or Sous Chef.
* Prepare dishes that comply with the College policy regarding allergens and also maximise the safe storage of food and minimise food wastage.
*To achieve and maintain the highest possible standards of health and hygiene and report any deficiencies to the Exc. Head Chef.
* To take an active part in daily team briefings and undertake other related duties as requested.
Experience and Skills Required
*Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
*A formal and recognised qualification in professional cookery
*Training on HACCP & COSHH systems
*Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and support others during demanding periods
*Enthusiastic and flexible approach to work and tasks
*Responsible and trustworthy
*Trustworthy and hardworking
Salary and Benefits
*Average 40 hour week
