Chartered Quantity Surveyor

Award winning multi discipline property and construction consultancy is seeking an experienced chartered quantity surveyor to join their team in Bristol.

Duties of the Chartered Quantity Surveyor will include:

Evaluating costs and advising on alternative proposals, providing advice on contract arrangements and conditions, Liaising with architects and engineers and advise on the cost implications of different construction methods, alternative choices of materials and size and quality of the project, preparing tendering documents including use of 3D measurement software, managing the costs of projects during the construction stage and negotiate final accounts and leading from the front with regards to client facing meetings, dealing with multi-discipline teams and project delivery.

The successful Chartered Quantity Surveyor will be:

You should be Chartered (or close to being chartered) and experienced in a similar role within a consultancy environment, you will have an inquisitive nature, analytical mind and high level of intellect - combining your excellent written and oral skills to produce considered and robust reports and recommendations, to be successful in your application for our Quantity Surveyor position you will need to demonstrate a passion for your professionalism and a drive to push your capabilities. It is also essential that you have an outgoing and approachable nature with a strong 'can do' attitude.
