Chartered Accountant

Qualified Chartered Accountant (Practice) - Salary £55,000 - £62,000 per annum - FULL TIME / HYBRID

REED are recruiting for a Chartered Accountant with at least 4 years post Qualifying experience in practice for a leading firm based near Wimborne, Dorset.

You will be taking a leading role in the firms future development including Marketing, growing its Management Consultancy services, managing a limited number of audit clients, to deliver accountancy, advisory and compliance services to clients.

My client is a long established boutique accountancy firm with a varied client portfolio, covering accountancy, tax, business advisory, management accountancy and audit services. The successful candidate will value professionalism, have excellent communication skills and enjoy delivering excellent client service alongside a supportive team.

The person appointed will like delivering client service and working with other team members.

Technical
-Good Excel modelling skills necessary for management consultancy
-Up to date with accounting and audit developments
-Keen to improve technical knowledge through the firm’s training with Mercia Training
-A good knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks online and Sage

Marketing
-Is keen to identify new services for existing clients
-Can assist the partner in attracting new clients to the firm via successful marketing

Admin
-Agrees budgets on client services
-Prompt at billing
-Recognises the importance of good recoveries

Clients
-Works with team on delivery cost effective compliance and advisory services
-Can develop effective working relationships with clients
-Keeps in regular contact
