Channel Account Manager - The Role:

You will be responsible for managing customer accounts, quoting wireless solutions and speaking to current and prospective customers on a day to day basis. Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to;

  • Management of existing leads / prospects and accounts
  • New business generation - cold & warm calling
  • The ability to upsell and grow accounts
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge of our vendor technologies and their competition
  • Follow industry developments and market trends
  • Forecast reporting and pipeline management

Channel Account Manager - The Candidate:

  • Ability to listen and articulate effectively
  • To gradually learn and amass knowledge and detailed understanding of Sales
  • To converse with all customers and the people throughout the organisation from Director level to Junior level
  • To be flexible on working hours and to work longer hours as the job may entail
  • At least 1-2 years working within a channel sales environment
  • Ability to build strong working relationships both internally and externally
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to persuade, influence and negotiate effectively at all levels within and outside the organisation
