Change Control Executive

Joining the Holiday Change Team as a Change Control Executive, we will help you become an expert on our destinations, products and procedures to respond, resolve and service a range of our customers. As part of the Holiday Change team you will manage, investigate and prioritise any Hotel and Flight Programme changes as well as administrating these changes within our in house systems. You will put all customers at the heart of the business and consistently ‘go the extra smile’ by creating unforgettable holiday experiences that make us famous for service and create customers for life.

What you will be doing

As a Change Control Executive, you will ensure that full consideration has been given to the change and that any course of action, whilst customer focused, has been considered against our legal responsibilities and wider trading activity. You will prioritise, investigate, challenge and manage all supplier and company driven changes to maximise customer retention and reduce and negative impact on the business and customer. You will ensure all proposed changes are relevant and necessary; the content is thoroughly investigated and ensure the root cause is identified in order that future re-occurrence is avoided. 
You will work closely with internal teams to mitigate the commercial impact of all programme changes through focus and the use of tactical alternatives to minimise exposure risks. You will identify and understand the root cause and accountability for each change actioned.

What we are looking for
  • Experience of working in a fast paced environment. An understanding of ABTA Code of Conduct and Package Travel Package Regulations would be advantageous however training will be provided
  • A customer driven and positive individual with passion for delivering contemporary service
  • Good mathematical ability, strong verbal and written English
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Engaging communicator able to manage challenging situations/individuals a team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Very efficient with the ability to prioritise yet consistently deliver with attention to detail
  • Willing to engage and collaborate at all times with customers and colleagues
  • Willing to adapt to regular business change and new technology
