Hays Office Support are looking for a Challenge Activities Fundraiser for our Client, a local Charity.

We are looking to recruit a hardworking and creative Fundraiser to work closely with supporters taking part in challenge events.
Your new role
Our client, a local charity needs to raise in excess of £6m annually, and so are looking for an experienced fundraiser to take responsibility for developing and coordinating our third party challenge fundraising opportunities including overseas treks such as The Great Wall of China, Trek to Angkor Wat and more local events such as the 10k Run. You will maximise fundraising income opportunities in order to ensure targets are achieved and sufficient income is received to support the services of the Charity.
Working pattern: 30 hours per week over 4 or 5 days (either Wednesday or Thursday as a day off if 4 days) and paying up to £23,321 pro rata dependant on experience.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will ideally have a good knowledge of fundraising and the voluntary sector, event organising, recruiting supporters to attend activities, working with the general public and be a confident public speaker. The ability to plan and prioritise your own workload is essential, as well as excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine enjoyment of working with and alongside people in a diverse range of settings.
Please Note-A full current driving licence is required for this role.
