Remuneration: £5,575 per annum (under review 2018)
Commitment: Approx 25 days commitment per annum, part time, permanent
Location: Greater Manchester
Our client is a highly respected organisation recently created from two long standing organisations with amazing legacies. The organisation is a not-for-profit social housing business in the North West who own and manage over 8,200 homes and support supported housing places across 17 Local Authorities in the North West, with a turnover of £50 million per year.
They are looking to appoint a new Chair for their Board.
The Chairs role is to ensure that the organisation fulfills the 'organisation's way’ creating an environment to flourish, with their strongly held belief that everyone should have access to a decent home and life opportunities. The Chair should ensure that the organisation meets its responsibilities to key stakeholders; particularly residents, staff and funders. The Chair will have strong interpersonal skills and provide strategic leadership in conjunction with the Board Directors and the Chief Executive to ensure that the organisation has a high value added governance framework and clear strategic direction.
