We are looking to recruit a Centre Coordinator to help support an excellent Training provider in the Leeds area. The role as Centre Coordinator is to ensure the delivery of outstanding teaching and learning to all learners through supporting and supervising a team of tutors delivering accredited and non-accredited courses.

As part of the delivery and quality team the Centre Coordinator will be the main point of contact for all tutor and assessors. You will be required to manage and support people on aa daily basis as well as maintain the knowledge on the OFSTED and Awarding Bodies requirements and updates.

Key for the Centre Coordinator / Team Leader Duties & Responsibilities:

·Being first point of contact for all tutors/assessors within the centre.

·Carry out the role of Deputy Safeguarding Officer for the organisation

·Researching new and creative ways to engage with learners from different backgrounds and with different abilities.

·Motivating the team to provide a fun, enjoyable and compliant learning environment

·Liaise with the Exams Officer and Invigilator to ensure smooth delivery of examinations for learners

·Arrange and have regular standardisation and CPD sessions with tutors

·Responsible for recruiting learners to agreed targets

·Monitoring learner starting points through robust Initial and Diagnostic Assessment

·Monitor learner progress across all provision

·Creating new placement opportunities for learners through Employer Engagement

·Networking with local events and other referral partners to showcase the SBWA and AEB provisions and the benefits.

·Complete initial Health and Safety vetting of employer, and monitoring documentation as per requirements.

You will have previously worked as a tutor lead / Centre Lead / Centre Manager / Lead Tutor / Lead Assessor/ Team Leader
