We are currently looking for an experienced and motivated candidate who will work as a Central Sales Office Manager to manage the internal sales team to ensure the delivery of quality customer service at all times, to be based out of our newly refurbished site in Middlesbrough.

What does the role involve?

Based in Middlesbrough, the Central Sales Office Manager will be responsible for assisting with market development and building customer relationships along with managing issues and input of accurate quotes and sales orders ensuring targets are achieved.
You will manage the internal sales team and will continually be looking to increase operating profit by penetrating existing products and developing new sales leads through improved sales activity, methods and performance. You will also offer support to the external Area Sales Managers to help them achieve their targets.
A key focus will be to educate the sales team personnel by establishing training programs in the areas of new account sales and growth, sales of high profit products, multi product sales and profitability and to work with the sales team to ensure the delivery of quality customer service at all times. You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of SIG Exteriors.
To be considered for this role you will ideally have worked in an internal sales team environment and have experience of team management and coaching. You will need to be an excellent communicator, outgoing and be a hands on manager, leading from the front to drive performance.You must be IT literate, and any roofing product knowledge would be advantageous, however this is not essential as full training will be given.
You should be a team player, be flexible, have a confident manner and be able to work under pressure.
