CDM Consultant / Principle Designer - Kent
£35,000 - £45,000 + Benefits
My client is a multi-disciplinary consultancy, operating across the UK, Australia, Asia and Europe. Employing more than 800 people at 20 locations across the globe, they have established themselves as knowledgeable and award winning partner of choice to a range of clients. Due to ongoing expansion of their CDM team, they are looking to recruit a talented CDM Consultant to join the team in Kent.
The main purpose of the CDM Consultant role is to plan, monitor and co-ordinate health and safety risks in the design phase of some amazing projects across the UK. The team is growing, and as such you will be working with colleagues across a range of disciplines and departments, assisting and advising clients in bringing together information, and working closely with designers and contractors throughout the process. In addition, you will carry out inspections and audits on projects, identifying and analysing trends, and reporting data back to relevant people.
To be considered for the CDM Consultant role, you will ideally be accredited with CMaPS membership, be able to demonstrate sound knowledge and experience in a construction-based health & safety environment, and have a solid grasp of CDM regulations. You'll possess strong attention to detail, have excellent communication skills, and have a passion for health & safety and CDM in the workplace.
A basic salary of between £35-45k is on offer depending on experience, along with an excellent benefits package and ongoing career and professional development. To be considered for the role, please contact Paul Turrall at Penguin Recruitment on , or email your CV to for immediate consideration.
