Cavity Wall Technician

Location: Positions are based in the following areas :- Ilkeston, Stoke, Coventry, Nottingham, Worcester, Gloucester.

Basic salary of £16,640 with OTE of £30,000   

Here's what you's be doing

As a Cavity Wall Technician here at E.ON you will be responsible for the installation of cavity wall insulation to customer’s property at E.ON Energy Installation Services Ltd.

You will have weekly checks to perform on cavity vehicle and equipment, keeping records as required.

Carrying out daily visual checks on your equipment and vehicle and taking part in technical monitoring checks for your installations on site.

You will ensure total compliance with E.ON Health and Safety guidelines and other governing party’s regulations and recommendations including the use of the tetra working at height equipment and all relevant PPE.You will carry out risk assessments and be responsible for cleaning up your work area when work is completed.


What we need from you:

  • Experienced Cavity Wall Insulation installer with emphasis on Quality and Health & Safety.
  • A full understanding of CIGA and BBA guidelines for the installation of cavity wall insulation.
  • Carded for Bead or fibre for cavity wall insulation.
  • Must hold a full UK Driving licence, 7.5 tonne would be preferable but not essential.
  • Understand how the performance of their team impacts on the overall EEISL targets.
