An opportunity has arisen for a Catering Manager at our client's Heritage Centre Cafe. The centre is a community hub and tourist attraction for visitors, providing exhibitions and interpretation about the fascinating local industrial heritage.
Salary: Circa £20,766 per annum (dependent on experience)
Hours: 40 hours per week. The post will require weekend working and some evenings
The Catering Manager will be accountable for the planning and implementation of Catering services and standards that drives achievement of the highest levels of visitor satisfaction and ensures achievement of costs in line with budgets.
You will be innovative and creative with proven experience of food preparation in a fast paced and commercial environment using seasonal and local ingredients. Along with proven people management and development skills you will be an excellent communicator who is open, honest and acts with integrity.
You will hold a city and guilds (catering) and advanced food hygiene qualifications and have a good understanding of food hygiene and Health & Safety processes.
