Contract Type: Full-Time permanent role

Salary: Depending on experience and qualifications

Qualification: Level 3 Food Hygiene & Safety (Catering), leadership experience

This is a full time permanent role and you will be required to support five days a week Monday - Friday inline with school hours.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the catering team and oversee daily service.
• Manage preparation of complex dietary meals (e.g., textured, allergen-safe).
• Ensure strict compliance with Natasha's Law, food safety, and hygiene (SFBB).
• Manage budget, stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships.
• Supervise staff (training, rotas, performance reviews).
• Collaborate with care, education, and therapy teams for holistic planning.
• Lead themed meals and special events.
• Contribute to emergency planning and food safety protocols.

Preferred Skills:

• Level 3 Food Hygiene & Safety (Catering).
• Proven experience managing catering for complex dietary needs.
• Strong track record in team leadership and performance management.
• Expert knowledge of food safety legislation.
• Strong skills in budgeting, stock control, and financial monitoring.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, etc.).
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
