Hours/Duration: Part Time, Permanent - 39 weeks per year
Location: Various Schools throughout Aberdeen

The majority of vacancies are likely to be approximately 10 hours per week. Applicants can contact the relevant Team Leader for more information regarding hours and locations if required:

Melanie Rennie – North (Bridge of Don, Dyce, Bucksburn, Kingswells, Westpark, Orchard Brae, Heathryburn) -

Tracy Archibald – Central (Woodside, Kittybrewster, Mile-End, Schools in town centre, Northfield Academy, Manor Park) -

Sally Campbell – South (Cove, Altens, Cults, Milltimber, Mastrick Area, Hazelhead) -

Please note: Applications will be reviewed on a fortnightly basis.

Job Purpose:
To assist the Cook in Charge in the preparation and serving of meals in a safe, hygienic, efficient manner providing a high standard of customer service


The post holder needs to hold as a minimum:
An Elementary Food Hygiene Certificate or willingness to undertake and pass this course within 6 months


The post holder is expected to demonstrate:
Awareness of risks within a kitchen environment
Ability to count cash and cheques
Sound basic written and numeracy skills
Sound understanding of the English language
High standard of hygiene awareness
