We are currently looking for a hardworking and passionate Catering Assistant to join our catering team. This Catering position will be based at our Yates Court Housing Scheme. You will help to provide a quality dining experience in our well established restaurant.

Salary: £8.13 per hour
Hours: 20 Hours per week
Eating well is one of life’s great pleasures, the Restaurant is the hub of the community and you will be contributing to its success. Operating a predominantly lunchtime service and some evenings the Catering Assistant will assist our chefs to provide homemade traditional and local variation themed food and menus and recipes to offer our residents an excellent choice of nutritionally balanced meals.
The successful Catering Assistant will be required to ensure a commitment to the highest standards of hygiene at all times, making sure health and safety standards are adhered to, this includes washing pots, sweeping and mopping the floor, and general cleaning of the kitchen. You will also be required to help keep the food stores clean and tidy in order to meet the standards required.
Previous experience of working as a Catering Assistant / Hospitality Assistant in a similar environment would be preferred, although training will be given. You may already be qualified to QCF Level 2, or equivalent, or be prepared to work towards this qualification.
