An opportunity has arisen for a Catering Assistant to join our client's Café Shrub Team.

Job title: Catering Assistant (x2)
Salary: £8.21 per hour
Hours: 16 hours per week
Reporting to: Catering Supervisor
Location: Winlaton Mill, Gateshead

About the role

Working with a supportive brigade, you will be expected to be involved with the day-to-day running of catering services, providing exceptional customer care and maintaining consistently high standards of service, hygiene and health and safety.

The role requires a positive and flexible approach with the ability to operate effectively in a fast paced customer environment. In addition, the role will require weekend working and some evening working.

About you

They are seeking someone who is outgoing and enthusiastic, preferably with experience of customer service in a fast paced catering environment. You will be an excellent communicator who is open, honest and acts with integrity. You will be flexible and willing to tackle any task or role assigned to you with a positive attitude.

With a passion for food and delivering an excellent service, you will also have knowledge of food safety and health and safety principles.
