Devon based organisation seeks skilled procurement professional for category role in its growing operation.
Your new role
Your new role as Category Manager will see you take on a wide ranging and challenging position that will involve forming strong working relationships with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure you effectively develop the organisations procurement strategy. You will be required to deliver maximum value through effective supply chain management and also support the procurement manager with wider business responsibilities.
Duties include (but are not limited to):
- Developing Category Strategy
- Stakeholder management
- Forward planning and managing tenders
- Delivering value and effective cost savings
- Meeting category needs
What you'll need to succeed
To be chosen for the role you will need to display a strong track record of procurement at management level or senior. You must also have a track record of running tenders and delivering effective cost saving in your previous roles.
What you'll get in return
£35,000 - £40,000 + Benefits
