An experienced procurement professional with exposure to category management strategies is required by this well know Oxfordshire organisation. Working as part of a growing procurement team, the role of Category Lead will be to contribute to the development, management and execution of category strategies across the indirect spend portfolio, including facilities, travel, HR and legal. You will be required to deliver value and efficiencies whilst ensuring procurement best practice is delivered and cost saving opportunities identified.
In addition the role requires someone who's able to develop sourcing strategies and manage key stakeholders and suppliers. You will ideally be CIPS qualified or studying for the qualification and have experience of delivering procurement strategies in either a European or Global environment. Strong communication skills and organisational skills are also required for the role.
