The Role

As a Buyer, you will be responsible for:

  • Sourcing and negotiating with suppliers to secure the best quality and pricing
  • Managing supplier relationships and ensuring compliance with food safety standards
  • Monitoring market trends and identifying new product opportunities
  • Collaborating with internal teams including logistics, quality assurance, and sales
  • Forecasting demand and managing inventory levels to optimise stock availability
What We’re Looking For
  • Proven experience in a buying or procurement role, ideally within the food or FMCG sector
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • A keen eye for quality and detail
  • Ability to analyse data and make informed purchasing decisions
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and supply chain best practices
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office
