Buyer electronics procurement

Your new company
A large electronics organisation based in Hampshire, operating on a global level they are a large supplier of electrical items. A long standing background in their field with a turn over in excess of £40m.

Your new role
You will run a small team within the organisation managing a spend around £40m, You will be directly responsible for your own group of suppliers which collectively contribute to the company turnover. You will also be required to identify through market research and industry analysis new opportunities in order to grow and expand your sector. You will also be involved in providing analytical data to aid company projects.

What you'll need to succeed
Previous buying experience with responsibility for own suppliers, some experience in a similar role in reviewing competitor information and analysing data and presenting findings via reports and presentations for all levels of the business, previous buying experience which must include negotiated terms contracts, understanding promotional calendars and forecasting/planning tools, some experience of sourcing new business opportunities, some experience of project work Previous negotiation experience, ability to manage and motivate a small team
