I am currently working with a company based near Witney who are looking for a customer services executive to join the Catalogue & Retail  Key Accounts team. The first 6 months of the role will be spent in the customer services team and then the role will progress and responsibilities will increase (along with a salary and bonus review)

It is a permanent role paying £18,000 plus £2000 bonus per annum (with the view of it increasing after 6 months)


To provide exceptional customer service to key retail and catalogue accounts. Develop an understanding of the business requirements of the customer and manage their order book with accuracy and efficiency. Problems must be addressed professionally with proactive solutions and preventative measures.

This role is perfect for someone who has an interest in customer services and a desire to progress into account management.


• Customer relationship management
• Process orders as required with accuracy and speed
• Maximise order book fulfilment by liaising with Supply Chain and Warehouse
• Be proactive and offer alternative products for out of stock items
• Promote new products
• Delight customers, above and beyond the call of duty (go the "extra mile")
• Have empathy for a customer's problem and think "outside the box" to offer achievable solutions
• Have a "thick skin" so that complaints can be handled professionally and aim to resolve the situation amicably
• Develop good working relationships with internal departments ensuring issues are addressed in the proper manner and avoiding a "blame" culture
• Ad-hoc administrative tasks

• Adopt a pleasant and friendly style (smile) on the telephone
• Work accurately and with the an eye for detail
• Use training and instructions provided in order to work independently

• Be proactive
