£7.60 to £9.12 per hour near Scunthorpe and Barton Up-on Humber, North Lincolnshire
Options North(Adult Autism Service) & Options Barton School require a Casual Maintenance Technician. Working in a specialist residential care setting and based across our services in Roxby, Dragonby, Barton upon Humber and Broughton the position of Casual Maintenance Technician is also within commuting distance of Winterton, Scunthorpe, Doncaster, Crowle, Gainsborough, Grimsby & Cleethorpes, Immingham, Killingholme, Hull, Hessle, and surrounding areas. Salary £7.60 - £9.12 per hour.
Working as a Casual Maintenance Technician, this key position supports the Facilities Team to maintain buildings, equipment and plant to the high standards set by the company and external regulators. Following a thorough 3 week induction your duties would include:
Supporting the maintenance team in operating day to day response and planned maintenance, refurbishment tasks and repairs
Operate a planned system of general maintenance and repairs
To travel to each site or suppliers as required to carry out any role responsibilities
To respond timely and with flexibility to urgent or last minute staff/service requirements as a service providing function of the Centres.
To have an awareness and empathy with the Service Users for whom the service is provided and to carry out duties mindful of their needs.
- Experience of General Maintenance/DIY
- Knowledge of working to strict Health and Safety Guidelines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to completing day to day tasks effectively and timely.
- Full Driving Licence
