Teaching Assistant - Autism Specialist
Principal Resourcing are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant with experience working with Autism to work with us on supply in the Barnsley and surrounding areas for the 2017/2018 academic year. Ideally you will have experience working in an educational setting; however any experience with the Autistic spectrum will be considered.
We work with a number of specialist SEN schools and also mainstream schools that have a need for knowledgeable classroom support staff, who can build strong relationships with the students and keep them engaged with their learning.
We are interested in hearing from anyone with experience with Primary or Secondary aged children.
What you will require:
The flexibility to complete a variety of assignments often at short notice
Be confident, passionate and highly motivated
The ability to model and deliver high standards of learning support
The ability to work positively and effectively under pressure, taking note of, and acting on, all issues relating to the wellbeing and safeguarding of children
A commitment to develop the personalities and abilities of all students
