Cash Office Clerk
Position: Part time, Trial leading to Part time, Permanent
Hours: Tuesday 9am - 5:30pm
Wednesday 11am - 4pm
Friday 9am - 5pm
The opportunity to increase the above hours may arise therefore the successful candidate must be flexible and willing to work Bank Holidays.
Location: Bredbury, Stockport, Cheshire
With our expansions we are continually seeking additional members of staff for our auction centre.
Our Client is one of Europe's largest companies in the homeware & electrical market. We have exciting plans ahead that involve the expansion of our centre team through the appointment of additional customer service personnel with the drive, skill, interpersonal skills and experience to help us deliver our current operations and assist in our wider company goals.
You will be the first point of contact for all customers attending our weekly sales and will assist in dealing with general enquiries and providing important sale information. Experienced cash handling skills are essential, ex-banking or Post Office candidate would be ideal. You must possess excellent IT skills (although full training on our in-house system will be given). You will be required to work in a fast paced environment and must be extremely conscientious in your work ethic.
The successful candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work on their own initiative and have a hands-on approach to customer service.
Experience in customer service and dealing with the general public
Possess excellent interpersonal & communication skills
The ability to work individually or part of a team
Reading, Writing & Mathematics Skills
Excellent IT Skills
Experience in a similar role in the retail sector
