Reporting to the Head of Credit Control, you will have at least 12 months experience working in an office-based administration position with excellent attention to detail & ability to prioritise and complete work in a timely manner. You will have the ability to work quickly and to prioritise workload, meeting deadlines and delivering accurate results. The Cash Allocation Administrator will be results orientated with experience of working in a busy environment and familiarity around Credit Control and cashiering processes.

Duties to include but not restricted to:

  • Allocating cash received against invoices / credit note.
  • Resolving un-reconciled transactions on accounts.
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Reconciling payments received with customer invoices
  • Experience working with Excel
  • Experience working with Sage
  • Confident, articulate, effective communicator
  • Careful, accurate and efficient data entry and verification
  • Answering internal and external queries regarding payments
  • Numerate with a logical approach to problem solving
  • Able to work to service levels and quality measures
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

Skills & Qualities you will need to demonstrate:

  • You will be self-motivated and enthusiastic with an ability to contribute ideas and be part of a successful team.

Package Details:

Basic salary: £17,000 depending on experience. Reviewed annually in May

Hours: 37½ hours per week Monday to Friday, normal office hours apply.

Holiday Allowance: 20 days paid holiday p.a. increased upon anniversaries, ultimately to 24 days p.a., plus public holidays
