However, there is flexibility regarding your background and consideration will be given to those with transferable skills looking for a change of career, providing that they have the essential credentials our client is looking for.

One of the UKs largest probate genealogist/heir hunter firms is recruiting for a Case Manager to join its expanding team based in Wigan providing genealogy services to the legal sector.

This unique and rewarding opportunity includes the following responsibilities:

  • Researching family trees.
  • Liaising with family of the deceased (Occasional travelling to visit family members if necessary)
  • Updating solicitors
  • Preparing reports
  • Computerising family trees
  • General administrative duties
  • Working with the private client/public sector team to meet financial and deadline targets

You will be ultra-organised and possess strong communication skills including a good telephone manner. You will have basic knowledge of Microsoft systems and be able to manage large workloads working to tight deadlines. This can mean some after hours working.

Full training will be provided.



Holiday entitlement (24 plus Statutory holidays)
