We are seeking an experienced Case Manager to join a specialist team handling complex life insurance cases, with a focus on inheritance tax (IHT) planning and high networth clients. You will be involved in working on complex, high-value cases and bespoke planning strategies.

This is a pivotal role where you’ll manage cases end-to-end, ensuring clients feel supported, advisers are fully equipped, and cases progress smoothly, efficiently, and compliantly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full lifecycle of IHT life cover cases, from client introduction to policy going on risk.
• Coordinate with medical partners, GPs, and clinics to arrange medicals, chase reports, and resolve delays.
• Collaborate with underwriters to progress applications and ensure accurate documentation.
• Keep clients informed with timely updates and reassurance at key touchpoints.
• Apply initiative when cases stall due to medical delays, GP non-response, or underwriting queries.
• Confidently manage high-value, sensitive cases involving large sums assured.
• Maintain detailed case notes and ensure all work meets FCA standards and internal compliance.

Experience required:

• Proven experience in life insurance case management, ideally with exposure to IHT or HNW clients.
• Understanding of medical underwriting processes and terminology.
• Professional, empathetic communication skills with the ability to reassure clients and liaise with medical professionals.
• Highly organised, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes while upholding Consumer Duty principles.
