About the role:

Interserve Healthcare is a leading care provider who puts care at the heart of everything we do. We support a range of clients varying in age and care requirements which can include mental health, learning disabilities, physical disabilities.

As a Care Assistant in this role duties will vary dependent on each clients individual care plan. These may include personal care, assistance with moving and handling, meal preparation, support with community outings and medication administration, catheter care and wound care within the client's own home. Please note, you must hold a full driving licence with access to a car.

Rates of pay range from £9.00 to £12.00 per hour following deductions for NI and holiday pay.

Shift patterns are as follows; 08:00-13:00 or 16:00-22:00

(The whole shift is paid in full not per call plus mileage is also paid)

Following skills & experience required:

  • 6 months previous care experience
  • Excellent communication skills, written, verbal and listening
  • Have a caring and compassionate attitude
  • Must be car driver with business class car insurance
