The role is based within a small team and we are looking for Carers Centre Support Workers to be the first point of contact for carers, families and visitors telephoning or coming to the centre.
You be the face of the Carers Centre within the hospital and the role will require you to multitask throughout the day covering reception and undertaking varied tasks that could include; using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Publisher and Outlook) to produce different documents, registering carers, families and visitors attendance onto the centre database, supporting and sign posting carers internally and externally as well as keeping an eye on the tidiness of the information displays around the centre.
You will have experience of working with carers either directly or from family support work interventions and have a good eye for detail, be happy working to standard procedures around data entry and collation, which will assist other staff to produce statistical reports. A confident and welcoming manner is essential.
