The Role

A Carehome/NHS Systems Project Manager is needed for an initial 3 month contract (likely extension) in Central Manchester. The successful Project Manager will be responsible for managing the full project life cycle for the implementation of a new Care Home Management (CHMS) service.

In addition, the role will be responsible for delivering the hosting and connectivity solutions(s)

This role will be very `hands on` and will require full management and coordination of all project activities.

The successful candidate must have previous experience of implementing a similar care home system in a previous role.

Carehome/NHS Systems Project Manager Role Requirements

You must have Experience in delivering at least one care system within one or more of the following

    • Care Homes
    • Hospices
    • NHS Primary Care
    • Local Authority Adult Social care
  • Demonstrable experience in working with clinical staff.
  • Prince 2 project management qualifications, and demonstrable prior experience of Prince 2 structured projects
  • To take ownership of projects and identify the appropriate level of governance to achieve successful management of those projects
  • Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders including internal and 3rd party resources
  • Recommend IT strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems; evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
  • Direct and motivate the project team while emphasising a focus on product delivery
  • Ensure that all project(s) are delivered to the agreed time, scope, quality thresholds and budget
  • Develop a detailed project plan and to track progress against the plan
  • Properly manage all project controls including Risk, Issues, Change
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation including Highlight Reports and Action Logs
  • Engage with the business decision makers/key stakeholders on existing systems and identify requirements for changes/enhancements
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
