Templewood Recruitment Services are currently looking for Care Workers who are truly passionate about delivering high quality care to vulnerable adults within the local community. You will support our service users by enabling them to improve their quality of life and helping them achieve their desired goals.

We are looking for both experienced carers and are also recruiting for inexperienced workers who have a caring nature and enjoy helping others and would like to benefit from paid training and enter one of the UK's fastest growing industries, working with an employer who offer excellent working conditions and the chance for career growth.


Duties:
You are required to provide personal, domestic care and companionship to vulnerable adults/elderly, in their own home and engage in outreach and community based acitivities designed to enrich their lives.

Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
-Providing service user with the appropriate level of care in line with their support plans
-Safeguarding the rights and dignity of the Service Users
-Supporting Service User's to build their confidence, self-esteem and their ability to manage their symptoms
-Support Service Users with taking their medication
-Support Service Users with their daily living skills and domestic chores

-Taking people out to the shops, Doctors or enabling them to access the community

-Accurately keeping daily records

-Maintaining service users independence

-Assisting with personal care

Requirements

Good communication skills; both written and verbal

Commitment, enthusiasm, flexibility and professionalism

Experience in care is desirable

Driving licence and own care would be beneficial but is not essential
