Well this may be the opportunity you have been looking for...
ENABLE Scotland is a dynamic and vibrant organisation dedicated to improving the lives of people with learning disabilities. You should have the drive, commitment and motivation to support people with physical and learning difficulties, striving to make sure they have the same opportunities as everyone else.
We are looking for a committed person with patience who is a team player to support a young man in Coatbridge, North Lanarkshire.
That could mean supporting them to live independently in their own home or take part in activities we take for granted. And, who knows, it could make a difference to your life as well.
Here's a little about Mark:
Mark would like to be supported by people who take the time to listen to him and who are patient and consistent in their attitude and approach. He needs enthusiastic staff who will support him to achieve goals and new activities. Mark's interests and passions include football, the outdoors, cinema and playing pool. He is also keen to participate in new activities.
Mark would prefer to be supported by someone who can drive and who may share the same interests as him and help him to achieve his goals, interests and work towards Mark to live an independent and fulfilling life.
Flexibility is required as the hours of work are day and night shifts 7 days a week.
If you think you could share the same interests and have the commitment to support Mark to help him get the most out of life, this might be the opportunity for you.
