With a portfolio of 5 care homes (and more in the pipeline) it takes pride in providing the most exceptional standard and quality of nursing and residential care, against a backdrop of genuine empathy and compassion, a focus on dignity, and a commitment to improving the lives of those in their care.

It’s this focus that sees it doing some incredible things, changing lives, improving quality of lives, helping people to take back their lives from, for example dementia. But, without any dedicated marketing activity, this can go unnoticed, not reaching those people that may benefit the most from this exact kind of care.

That’s where you come in.

As a standalone Marketing Co-ordinator, you’ll take responsibility for all activities, on and offline, brand, comms, and social media, working with external PR, design and web agency to provide additional support.

Working alongside the finance team, service managers and carers, you’ll report directly to the Managing Director, have the backing of the board, immediate exposure to the business, and a real opportunity to make a difference to the way the business is perceived, marketed, and brand identified.

Focussed on raising the profile of the business, its good work, successes and services, its vital that you develop strong, successful links with Community Groups, Activity Co-ordinators, GPs and Social Workers, in turn generating referrals, and enquiries.

You’ll have free reign in deciding which channels you use to communicate content, carefully selecting your audience and platform, constantly coming up with new ideas and concepts for campaigns, comms and referral / reward schemes.

More specifically, you'll find yourself:

- Seeking new advertising opportunities and marketing platforms
- Liaising with the homes and local media to create a comprehensive marketing strategy and advertising campaigns
- Writing press releases and obtaining images
- Managing PR relations
- Updating website with news stories, plaudits and other materials
- Managing all social media accounts, plus setting up and managing a Facebook account
- Supporting the design and update of all promotional and marketing materials (brochures, brochure inserts, business cards, adverts and flyers)
- Copy writing and proof reading of all external comms
- Creating and distributing a quarterly group newsletter
- Liaising with professional photographer, ensuring images are used in marketing materials (including brochures, website, etc)
- Analysing data and marketing strategy

Naturally, you'll have worked within a Marketing role previously, perhaps as an assistant, officer or even junior executive, with experience across Marketing, Comms and PR.

You'll bring an abundance of creativity, initiative, ideas, not to mention energy, have an eye for detail, able to prioritise your own work, scheduling and adapting tasks/projects to meet continually changing deadlines, sometimes even conflicting!

Technically, you’ll be exceptionally PC literate, with a natural ability to learn new systems and technology, able too, to convey information through these, effectively and varying to meet the needs of your audience.

Social Media Channels
Adobe Photoshop
Mailchimp
Google Analytics
MS Office

Plus, whilst based at the organisation's Head Office, you may also be required to travel to the company’s other premises as required so will need to be flexible.
