Hours: Full-time
Salary: £75,000 + Benefits

Athona Recruitment are excited to currently be working with one of the UK's leading providers of elderly care, who require a Home Manager for their luxury homes. Their homes provide the highest level of residential, nursing and specialist dementia care.

We are recruiting for an experienced Home manager with experience managing nursing teams .
This is a luxury care home providing residential, nursing and dementia care .

Funders - Private fees, and other surrounding local Commissioners Private Residents The main opportunity is the private market.

Experienced hands on manager
The Home has two distinct client groups, residential and nursing, it is essential to have a background in each discipline. The manager must be able to manage a large team, leadership is key to success for the staff team and the relatives.
To maintain and develop links to the Commissioners is essential in this area.

Unique characteristics and objectives relevant to the home
Staffing to focus on provision of quality care, promoting experience in person centred care in clinical and areas, Build and recruit a core staff team.

Desired Requirements
RGN or Similar Qualification

Educational Achievements
Relevant qualifications i.e. RGN, RMN, NVQ 4 in Care, NVQ Level 5 Management

Skills and Abilities:
Is commercially astute
Demonstrates the flexibility and adaptability to changing business conditions
Understands and has sound working knowledge of external regulatory bodies.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to follow guidelines and policies
Measures performance and takes appropriate action
Numerate; financial literacy
Able to plans tactically and execute effectively

Able to engage with stakeholders, to identify their service needs and review the quality of services provisions
Focus on delivery under pressure at pace

Experience working within the residential care environment
