Care Coordinator

We are delighted to be recruiting for a Care Coordinator to join our clients continuously growing team.

Our client prides themselves on offering a fun and rewarding working environment and they need someone who has experience working in the care sector. The ideal Care Coordinator must be loyal, reliable but most importantly able to handle working under pressure and to deadlines.

Main Duties

  • Coordinate care services in Sevenoaks and/or Tunbridge Wells
  • Work alongside and with other Care Coordinators
  • Monitor and ensure the highest level of care is delivered to service users
  • Reviewing feedback from service users on a streamline portal
  • Organise and coordinate staff rotas
  • Ensure all service users are allocated appropriate carers when required
  • Ensure when organising rotas that Care Workers are allowed time on their schedules for travel and rest breaks between appointments.
  • Liaise with appropriate contacts internally and externally where required
  • Allocate care workers to service users based on service needs and qualifications / experience required
  • Cover carers if required
  • Manage and match carers to cater for service user expectations
  • Deal with difficult situations and resolve calmly and efficiently or ensure cases are escalated to the relevant persons
  • Being On-Call (includes bonus pay for weekends)
  • Ensuring service user records are kept updated at all times
  • Processing all appropriate documentation/notes in the office as well as on the company’s online system
  • Handling communications via telephone, email etc
  • Represent the company to a high standard at all times, inside and outside of work
  • Various other tasks not stated on job description
  • Support and participate in company growth

Qualification’s Skills and Experience Required

  • Previous experience working in the care sector
  • Experience working as Care Coordinator (preferred not essential)
  • Able to work well under pressure
  • Team leadership skills
  • Good level of education
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
  • Organised and computer literate
  • Qualifications in health and social care preferred


  • Full time, Permanent
  • Monday-Friday, typical office hours
  • £21,000 Annual Salary
  • Bonus pay for weekend/evening on call service responses
  • Company pension
