Who we are:
The business was set up by Ben Ruddle in March 2009, who after a poor experience with the available home care services for his 98 year-old grandfather, decided that he could help other people with similar problems. After some research, he came across Home Instead and decided to open a franchise in Swansea.

With the coronavirus situation evolving every day we are experiencing increased demand for our services and are recruiting extra CAREGivers to join our friendly and dedicated team.
Why join us?
We are searching for lovely people within the Swansea area (SA1-SA7), preferably with good experience in care to join our 5* award winning team to help support our vulnerable clients in their own homes through this difficult time. COVID 19 has put a huge demand on our unique care services, our clients have lost some support they would regularly receive, due to family members or friends unable to travel or having to self-isolate. It is our mission to be able to provide personalised and high quality support and reassurance to all who need it.
All of our calls are a minimum of 60 minutes so you will have time to deliver excellent standards of care and also have time to enjoy getting to know your clients. You will also have the pleasure of seeing the same faces each week as we pride ourselves on building real and lasting relationships. You could provide the much needed company that our clients so desperately need, as everything we do is companionship led. We don’t believe in just dashing in and out.
Our services are non-medical and can include companionship, home help, personal care, meal preparation, post-hospital care, memory care and much more. We are preferably looking for staff who have experience administering medication and PPE & Infection Control training, but this is not essential as we provide full training.

"I worked in a care home that specialised in nursing and dementia care, your job application made me look you up, I checked you on Facebook and the Care Inspectorate Wales website because I was a bit dubious about home care, but it was all good stuff so I thought I'd give it a shot. How have you found providing care at home during COVID 19?
"Working during the pandemic, I can't say has been any different than when I first started, and that’s a good thing, the support I have had from day one is there, despite working separately there is no lapse in communication, instructions are clear, and the help is there, equipment supply and guidance on usage is there and clear. The company is as much a team now as it was in February."
We look after our staff the same way we do our clients, so in joining us, you will receive:
- - £8.72 per hour rising to £9.00 on weekends

We currently have shift patterns consisting of:
- 07:30 - 13:00
- 16:00 - 22:00
You must hold a full UK license and have your own vehicle, be flexible, and be willing to work every other weekend to be considered for this job role.
