Newcross has several job vacancies for experienced Care Assistant to join our Glasgow Branch team, working day shifts in and around Renfrewshire.

The Care Assistant Role

Working as a Newcross Care Assistant means you will be involved in ensuring each resident receives the highest quality of person-centred care, you must be confident in your ability to provide life-enhancing care that protects the dignity of the client and is in line with their personalised care plan.

It is essential that you are dedicated to promoting the well-being and quality of life of each individual you care for. This means recognising the capabilities of each person, championing their needs and seeing them as more than a care plan. Personal care could include: dressing, washing, toileting and enabling service users to live their daily lives as they choose. You will play an essential role in enabling our service users to live fulfilling lives, engaging in their favourite activities and interacting with their families, visitors and other residents.

Due to rural client locations and shift times, public transport is not always readily available, therefore access to your own vehicle is desirable.

We provide high quality healthcare staff to towns and cities within Glasgow, Renfrewshire and the Western Scottish islands, from Campbeltown to Oban.

Person Specification

To apply for this care assistant vacancy, you will need to have the right to live and work in the UK, at least 1 years' previous paid experience in a UK care environment and suitable referee contact details to include a supervisor who can comment on your clinical ability.
