Newcross Healthcare is looking for professional, dedicated and experienced Care Assistants who are committed to delivering high-quality care to support a range of clients in Gloucester, Cinderford and the local surrounding towns through our friendly local branch.

You will be a permanent member of the healthcare team responsible for bringing the Newcross standard of care to every individual we care for. We have a range of short or long day shifts available today - presenting the opportunity to work around your availability.

The Care Assistant Role:

You will play an essential role in supporting the well-being and quality of life of each individual in your care. Daily tasks may include assisting with washing and dressing, meal times, personal care and assisting with activities as required.

The Local Branch

You can find your local team at Eastgate House in Gloucester City Centre. We provide first class care to service users across the Gloucestershire County, including Cheltenham, Stroud, Cirencester and Tewkesbury.


To be considered for this position, you will need the right to live and work in the UK, previous professional care experience in the UK and referee contact details to include a manager who can comment on your clinical ability.

A NVQ2 or equivalent in Health and Social Care is desirable. And due to the location of our clients, access to your own transport also preferred.
