Care Assistant

The Position

Newcross Healthcare Solutions is an independent, family-run organisation dedicated to providing quality temporary staffing to hospitals, care homes and nursing homes in the UK.

We are looking for experienced Care Assistants with a genuine, caring approach as well as the skills to deliver an expert level of person-centred care. It's essential you are confident delivering personal care with a mindful approach towards protecting the dignity of the individual and promoting their independence.

This could involve a range of tasks such as assisting with washing, dressing, toileting, meal times, accessing the community and other general activities that enable clients to receive an excellent standard of care.

This is a permanent job with the flexibility to work short or long day shifts, nights or weekends or a combination of these. You can vary your rota to accommodate family commitments or you can work shifts that fit your off-duty rota, it's your choice.

Drivers are preferred for this role, however as long as you are local to the area and/or willing to travel locally via public transport, we have the role for you.

This is a flexible role and means you could be working for more than one home in Bude and the local areas. Access to your own vehicle is desirable to enable you to access rural client locations.

The Local Branch

You can find your local branch at Unit 2, Castle Park Road in Barnstaple. Located a stone's throw from the A361, we are easily accessible from surrounding towns. We cover the North Devon area, from Bude and Holsworthy over to Tiverton, Bampton and everywhere in-between.
