Care Assistant

We have several flexible vacancies for experienced Care Assistants (HCA) working full or part time hours in a variety of exceptional nursing, residential and specialist care homes throughout the Aberdeenshire region. We currently have shifts avaliable in the following areas:-

  • Stonehaven

The Position

Every Newcross Care Assistant makes a difference in the lives of the patients they encounter, through their compassionate and sensitive approach, but also their ability to deliver the highest quality person-centred care.

Care could include assistance with washing and dressing, meal times, personal care, domestic tasks and any activities that enable individuals to live their life in the way they choose.

Ideally we are seeking car drivers for this position, however we also have vacancies available in areas reachable by public transport - so if you're willing to travel locally, we'd love to hear from you.

The Local Branch

Our Aberdeen branch - our first office in the North of Scotland, is located in Golden Square. We are a short 8 minute walk away from the train station for your convenience but we are also reachable by car or bus. We cover areas throughout north and south Aberdeenshire.

Person Specification

You will need to have the right to live and work in the UK, at least 3 months previous paid care experience in the UK and suitable referee contact details to apply for this vacancy. You will also need a valid certificate confirming your participation in a practical moving and handling course, or be willing to book onto a Newcross course.

You will also need to be SSSC registered or commit to registering when you join us.
