Cardiographer - Cardiac Department

Posted 5 February by NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde Featured Ended
We are looking for a Cardiographer to join our small and friendly team at West Glasgow Ambulatory Care Hospital. Some previous experience is required. The role is varied and involves performing 12 lead ECG recordings as well as fitting a range of ambulatory ECG and blood pressure monitors. The department promotes ongoing training and development for all staff and would be supportive of further training in ECG interpretation for the person appointed. You should have an SCST Certificate in Electrocardiography or equivalent level of knowledge [broadly SCQF level 4]. This would include ECG recording technique and basic ECG interpretation. You should have a Standard Grade English, Maths and Science, or equivalent and also basic IT skills, to include use of Microsoft Word and Outlook. We are currently based at the Yorkhill hospital site but it is anticipated that the department will relocate to Gartnaval General Hospital in the near future. Interested candidates are invited to get in touch for an informal discussion or to arrange a visit. The shift pattern for this post is Monday - Thursday 8.45am - 4.45pm and Friday 8.45am - 12.45pm. This post requires membership of Disclosure Scotland's PVG Scheme. PLEASE READ AND SAVE THE CANDIDATE APPLICATION PACK BEFORE SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION. This post will be closing on the 16th February 2018.
