Car Parts Transport Driver

SR Transit, a division of Sapphire Ridge Ltd, is rapidly expanding due to demand as the UK’s Premier Auto Parts Specialist Transporter. We do a little agricultural and industrial stuff too but our bread and butter is serving the automotive industry and enthusiasts with professionalism, accessible pricing, expert auto parts handling and above all- passion for what we do!


~ Collecting and delivering vehicle parts to residences and businesses.

~ Long haul driving 1 to 20 stops per day, five days a week over Monday - Saturday with varied hours and occasional nights out. Max 2 Saturday's per month.

~ Proofing routes and communicating with the office.

~ Cleaning and checking van, reporting defects and taking vehicle to servicing and repairs.

~ Ability to converse with and respect different people, cultures and locations. We go from back street garages to supercar dealerships, city centres to country estates and each client requires suitable communication whether it be a casual chat with the lads over their project build to a formal conversation while following strict visitor policies.

~ Everything from watching out for children playing while you park to closing country gates is your responsibility- we need someone we can trust! We do encounter dogs- a dog friendly attitude is required.

~ We provide training but an ability to converse with new people about cars is one of the biggest assets you can bring to the table!


~ Automotive brand and parts knowledge required- knowledge assessments form part of the recruitment process.

~ Aptitude to learn new skills and good common sense as to how parts need to be handled. If you spend your weekends on the driveway, at car meets or down the track this career is for you!

~ Recruiting multiple vacancies UK wide over the next 6 months and urgent vacancies in South East England due to new contracts!

~ Have a safe place at home to park up to a 7m long, 2.2m wide and 2.6m high van- some drivers take their van home depending upon their location, personal use and the needs of the business.

~ Full Manual Cat B License with current address and 1yr+ driving experience. Maximum of 3 points for insurance purposes (drink, drug and insurance codes are not accepted by our insurer).

~ Must be fit to drive and perform manual handling tasks including lifting large / heavy items.

~ Comply with expensed DBS Check- we handle high value items, meet families and access restricted facilities.

~ Confident communication skills- fluent spoken and written English essential to communicate clearly with clients.

~ Sense of responsibility and ethics while working independently- we will trust you to make decisions!


~ £22,000 - £25,000 negotiable - depending upon experience

~ Probationary + Annual Performance & Salary Reviews
