The successful candidate will be joining an existing team and will report to a senior accountant, duties will include:-
*Process acquisition, disposal and depreciation accounting for all fixed assets
*Process income and expenses for all projects (including Capital Expenditure) and WIP
*Calculate post investment appraisals for projects
*Produce fixed asset and project reports
*Liaise extensively with project owners to provide process and financial guidance on capital projects
*Complete year end disclosures for both management and statutory reporting
*Support the budgeting/forecasting process with detailed submissions of capital and revenue expenditure
*Co-ordinate the annual investment property valuation exercise for the regions and ensure the financial statements are updated accordingly
The successful candidate will require the following attributes:
*Qualified accountant (CIMA/ ACCA or ACA)
*3+ years' experience in a similar role
*Good communication (verbal and written) and inter-personal skills
*Skills in planning, organising and time management
*Analytical and problem solving skills
*Ability to forge strong working relationships with a diverse set of colleagues
*Basic understanding of respective end to end finance processes
*Proactivity and high energy
*Strong customer service ethos
