Capacity Resource Analyst

Are you somebody who is able to think strategically? Do you have a background of working in analytics and reporting?

We are looking for our newest Capacity Resource Analyst to join our head office team in Coventry. Essentially you will play a crucial role in our Planning & Scheduling department, where you will provide key data analysis and insight to ensure the optimized delivery of our operational teams. You will be engaging with internal stakeholders such as the Central planning Team and work collaboratively to achieve our yearly project plans. Using your vast experience you will be expected to hit the ground running: providing key data for forecasting for future budgets, optimisation of resource plans and scenario planning. The role will allow you to really make a difference and improve the levels of service for the communities which we serve; providing a unique service and helping us achieve our goal of becoming "The UK's most trusted Water Company by 2020"

Having good experience of working in analytical problem solving, data trend analysis, data sourcing, and data translation would be a real asset to the role. Coming from a background of using the latest in Microsoft Packages such as Excel would essential for the role. You will have a proven track record of working as an effective and respected member of a Capacity/Resource Planning team, with a strong focus on customer service. You will be a driven and motivated individual who shows resilience in sometimes challenging situations and has the ambition to really make the role their own and really add value to our team.

In order to succeed in this role it is expected that you will have:

  • Right first time' attitude - focusing on the quality of outputs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • The ability to work well in a team, sharing knowledge and being supportive.
  • An exceptional ability and proven experience of working with data in order to make recommendations for improvements.
  • Able to take accountability for provision of recommendations/forecasts based on data sets and ownership of the underlying data.
