CAMHS Development Service Manager
The starting salary for this role is £61,463 per annum for a 36 hour working week.
We have an exciting opportunity for a service manager to lead and further develop a range of specialist therapeutic services within Surrey.
The role involves close working with commissioners in both health and social care to ensure the delivery of a range of services that promote good emotional wellbeing and mental health. Providing interventions to children, families and carers to avoid placement breakdown and support children to live within their local communities. The five services you will lead offer a range of direct work, consultation and crisis responses. Within the portfolio there are award winning services with ‘good’ and ‘outstanding’ ratings with Ofsted.
You will report directly to the Assistant Director of Children’s Resources and be part of a supportive team of service managers with a range of specialist skills
To apply and be considered for this position your application will clearly evidence (top 5 skills):
- Experience of working within
- Mental Health Crisis Services
- Have a good knowledge of mental health and children’s services legislation
- More than 3 years of management experience
An ability to:
- Lead and inspire Teams to deliver safe, good quality, outcome and child focussed services
- Work alongside commissioners to develop new services and develop existing services to meet the needs of children, families and carers in Surrey
- Manage a range of services where a high level of expertise is needed around crisis responses with excellent skills around risk management
- Work in partnership with health and education whilst managing multi agency/disciplinary teams
- Prepare for, lead and oversee Ofsted and CQC inspections
- Offer occasional ‘on call’ support or consultation
- Consider and respond to any gaps in services
