We are looking for customer focused Call Handlers to join our busy hospital transport booking team in Atcham.
This is a frontline customer-focused position dealing with high volume calls from patients all over the UK in relation to hospital transport bookings, cancellations, enquiries and complaints.
You’ll need to have excellent customer service skills, great patience and an understanding disposition in order for to support and assist our callers with their enquiries which can often be complex.
This post is fundamental to the smooth running of our transportation system which plays a vital role in patient care support services within NHS trusts across the UK, therefore the ability to work under pressure, adhere to strict guidelines and pay close attention to detail is essential.
The key responsibilities will include:
- Answer calls professionally in line with call response targets, whilst providing the highest level of customer service.
- Accurately enter all information obtained from callers on the booking system.
- Eligibility guidelines to be correctly adhered to whilst dealing with patients.
- Provide concise and informative customer feedback - referring them to the correct provider when required.
- Ensure contract KPI’s are met on a daily basis.
To be considered for the role you are required to demonstrate a good understanding of Customer Service, experience within a healthcare or call centre environment would be advantageous. Excellent communication skills both written and oral with an ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships with stake holders and colleagues.
You must be prepared to work at times under pressure and be adaptable to changes in processes and procedures.
