Call Centre Agent

Call Centre Agents required

Based in Loughton, Essex

Salary £16,000 + commission of up to £1,500 per month

Shifts on a rota basis 8am - 4.30pm and 10am - 6.30pm with a requirement to work one Saturday and one Sunday a month (day off during the week if you work a weekend shift)

Permanent roles and IMMEDIATE start

My client is a leading finance provider who are experiencing high levels of growth at the moment so this has led to an increased workload and the requirement for several Call Centre Agents to join their team across a range of departments. While this is mostly an outbound calling role there are no sales involved, you would be processing applications and dealing with customer enquiries.

The main purpose of the role is reviewing applications with the customer and ensuring all compliance and checks are totally accurate prior to processing.

Main Duties

  • Offer a friendly, helpful and professional first point of contact for all customers
  • To be responsible for the processing of customer applications. The process includes confirming the customers personal details and carrying out affordability assessments and ensuring the customer fully understands the product.
  • Update all customers notes correctly, using professional and factual information only
  • Achieving daily and monthly individual targets, which will help the growth of the department and company
  • To answer a high number of incoming calls and make outbound calls to customers. Communication may be required by email also

Person specification

  • Confident telephone manner - experience working in a call centre or a telephone based role is desirable
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Accurate attention to detail
  • Ability to manage own workload and meet strict deadlines
  • Work as an effective team member - be co-operative, support others
  • Ideally a GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths
  • A knowledge of computers and office software
  • Good listening skills

Full training will be given for the role and my client are looking for agents to start as soon as possible
