Our client is a 1930's aviation-themed brasserie and coffee;
house based in Redhill; serving superb quality homemade
food; with virtually everything down to the cakes and chutneys
freshly; made on the premises.

The client is currently looking to recruit an experienced
Manager for the business. The café was opened 5 years ago by
the present owners and has gone from strength to strength
since opening - incorporating a large terrace and new kitchen
into the business and extending the service area for it to now
offer seating that allows the café to serve around 500 + covers
on a busy weekend. There are many locals, and pilots from the
airfield that use the business on a daily basis.

Daily the cafe serve cooked breakfasts from 8:00am, pastries,;
sandwiches, full lunches, Barista-made Caffé Torelli coffee
from; Italian espresso coffee machines (drink in or takeaway),
and; a range of soft drinks to cater for all tastes. Additionally they
have a regularly changing specials board and even some large
functions throughout the year - many of which will take place
outside or in the nearby hanger- covered area. There is a full
team of around 10 staff Front of house and 3 chefs currently in
the business.

The client is looking for a Cafe/ Restaurant Manager currently;
that has strong catering experience in a fresh food/ retail
environment and be able to work well under pressure.
Customer service will be imperative to the business, additionally
some understanding of Kitchen operations would be an

Opening/ Closing responsibilities
Maintaining Personnel Files
Marketing initiatives
Staff Training
Ordering/ Monitoring costs etc..
The client is looking specifically for an individual with
experience on assisting the growth of a business, to take the
business as their own and look to new business opportunities
and initiatives to take it to the next level in a competitive market.
Also to maintain a strong level of staff training and motivation of
a young team.
This is a very physical role and busy environment so an ideal
candidate would be passionate regarding the industry,
energetic and able to stay organised and manage a busy
service environment effectively as required.

Previous experience and qualifications in; managing food
hygiene/safety is essential.
No regular late; nights. Free parking on site; Standard Holiday,
and tips will be offered for the successful candidate
Standard working hours 0800-1700 on a 5/7 day basis
